Customs Information
Due to Taiwan customs regulations, shipments exceeding a total value of NT$2,000 are subject to duties and taxes. Additionally, if an individual imports more than 6 shipments, each valued under NT$2,000, within a six-month period (either January to June or July to December), the 7th shipment and any subsequent ones will be subject to duties and taxes. This order count applies to all shipments regardless of the retailer. Only your local customs agency tracks your imported shipments and has this information. iHerb will confirm which shipments are not subject to duties and taxes with your customs agency and will refund any duties and taxes within 5 business days after delivery. Please note that national holidays may delay the refund timeline.
Placing multiple orders within a short period of time can cause customs clearance and order release delays.
Dutiable and taxable order value is determined by the sum of the subtotal and shipping fee. VAT is a standard 5%. Custom duties vary depending on the product. For example, supplements are subject to a duty rate of 30%.

To import food or dietary supplements into Taiwan for personal use, individuals must undergo Real-Name Authentication and formal (G1/X4) clearance via EZWAY App. EZWAY App will send a push notification for each shipment for the G1/X4 clearance. Failure to respond to push notifications may result in customs rejecting, delaying, or returning the shipment and compromise iHerb’s ability to refund your order. Consignees(Importers) without access to the EZWAY App, are required to upload additional documents to complete customs clearance. Click to learn more about the document upload process.
Taiwan Customs may charge consignees (importers) a Customs Detention fee of NT$200 per day, if the required documents are not submitted within 15 days of the parcel arriving in Taiwan. Please note, iHerb will not be liable for packages held or confiscated by Customs.
Shipping
DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) service is now available for shipments to Taiwan. All duties and taxes are pre-collected at checkout to expedite Customs Clearance; no further payments are required at the time of delivery.
All iHerb orders are shipped out from our South Korea warehouse to your country by Air Freight.
The Estimated Delivery window provided by iHerb reflects most standard deliveries. However, some orders may occasionally be subject to longer transit time caused by air freight delay, Customs hold, or any other unforeseen complications outside of iHerb’s control.

Restrictions
At iHerb, we respect the rules and regulations of Taiwan government and do our best to block Customs prohibited products from our site. However, please be aware, the following substances are not allowed to be imported into Taiwan: products containing hemp, poppy seeds; consumable pet products.
The quantity per item can not exceed 12, total item count per order can not exceed 36.
